Nigeria government threaten to punish Tekno singer over controversial video



Nigeria government has vowed to sanction one of its young and fast rising musician Augustine Kelechi popularly known as "Tekno" for a public display of immorality while the singer produced his music video.

French minister calls for Jeffrey Epstein investigation

France's gender equality minister is demanding an investigation into the activities of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein in France.

It's alleged that he has links to people and property in France.

Mr Epstein took his own life on Saturday whilst on pre-trial detention in the US leaving many questions unanswered.

UK Prime Minister Promises To Tackle Violent Crime

UK Prime Minster Boris Johnson has pledged to pour in 85m pounds, just over 100m dollars into the country's Crown Prosecution Service to help deal with violent crime.


But critics have hit back, saying the funds won't make up for 10 years of austerity in the system.

UK GOVT LAUNCHES LAW AND ORDER PUSH

The new UK government of Boris Johnson is launching a review into toughening sentencing for the most serious offences.

The UK's Crown Prosecution Service will also receive a cash boost to deal with violent offenders and 10 000 new prison places are planned.

Trump says NRA should be "respected" as Congress moves on gun reform
