India asks Pakistan to review downgrading of diplomatic ties over Kashmir conflict

A day after the Imran Khan government announced it was expelling India's envoy to Pakistan and suspending bilateral ties with its neighbour, India has urged Islamabad to reconsider its decision.

Ties between the two nations deteriorated after New Delhi revoked Jammu and Kashmir's autonomy- an area that both India and Pakistan claim in full but govern only in parts.

Clashes break out during attempted arrest of Kyrgyz ex-president

Canadian police "confident" bodies found are teenage killers

Canadian police say they are "confident" two bodies found in Manitoba
are the two teenage fugitives suspected of carrying out three murders.

Authorities have been trying to find 19-year-old Kam McLeod and
18-year-old Bryer Schmegelsky since the middle of July.

India's central bank cuts lending rates to speed up growth
