Trump criticises China ahead of Shanghai Talks

President Trump took to twitter on Tuesday morning criticising China's approach to the trade talks with the US.
 
It comes as US negotiators are in Shanghai for the first face-to-face talks with their Chinese counterparts since the G20 in Osaka.

UN: More Afghans killed by allies than militants

The United Nations says almost 4,000 civilians were killed or wounded
in Afghanistan in the first half of 2019, mostly by pro-government
forces.

It's the first time in the 18-year conflict government and foreign
allies have killed more civilians than militant groups.

Ethiopia cautious over Ebola Spread

Ethiopia has deployed several hundred medical officers across the
country to prevent the spread of Ebola which is moving through parts
of eastern Africa.

The preventive measures come as the World Health Organization raises
an alert on the disease which has killed more than 1700 people in the

BORIS JOHNSON VISITS WALES AFTER 'UNREST' WARNING

Boris Johnson is visiting Wales for the first time as UK Prime Minister to promise agriculture will be protected if there's a No Deal Brexit.

Wales's First Minister has warned Mr Johnson there is no mandate for such an exit from the European Union.

The UK government's position is now that it will leave the EU with no deal in place if Brussels won't negotiate a new agreement.

The Farmers' Union of Wales has warned of possible civil unrest in rural parts of Wales in a No Deal scenario.

Authorities seek motive in German train killing

There's been renewed flooding in south-east Russia following heavy rains in the region where 25 people were killed in floods in June.

Trump war of words with African American congressman continues

U.S. President Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to attack prominent
African American activist Reverend Al Sharpton.

Sharpton drew the President's ire after announcing he was traveling to
Baltimore to address recent comments made by Trump about the city.

President Trump has faced accusations of racism from Democrats after
calling congressman Elijah Cummings district in the Maryland city
rodent-infested.

Paris NGO files lawsuit over Notre Dame lead pollution
