Trump sending 1000 additional US troops to counter Iran

The US is sending another one thousand troops to the Middle East after the government in Tehran said it is days away from breaking its commitments under the terms of the Iran nuclear agreement.


The White House says President Trump --who pulled America out of the deal last year - will never allow the Iranians to develop nuclear weapons.

Kenya Ebola Scare

Kenya has been put on high alert after a suspected Ebola scare in Kericho County in the Western part of the country.

 

A statement signed by the Kericho County Government Chief Public Relations officer shows that a woman who presented with symptoms similar to those exhibited by Ebola patients has been isolated at the county hospital.

 

But Kenya's Health Cabinet Secretary says the female patient is not suffering from Ebola.

Airbus announces new jet on first day of Paris Air Show

European planemaker Airbus has launched a new aircraft on the first day of the Paris Air Show. 

The A321 (PRON: A-three-twentyone) extra long-range model will be able to fly 15% further than the last version of the jet.

AUSTRALIA: Father appeals for help from WhatsApp over missing son

Encrypted messaging service WhatsApp says it is working with authorities to help them locate missing Belgian backpacker Theo Hayez in Australia.
The 18-year-old's distraught father has pleaded for access to his son's account believing it could hold the key to his whereabouts.
NSW Police admit they are "baffled" by the disappearance of the young man, who was last seen leaving the Cheeky Monkey's bar in Byron Bay about 11pm on May 31 after earlier being captured on CCTV buying alcohol in a bottle shop.
His father Laurent Hayez arrived in the country last week and has appeared at Tweed Heads police station to beg the public for help, saying his son was "in grave danger".

FRESH STABBING IN LONDON AS CRIME ROW GROWS

London's seen its fourth killing in three days - taking the total number of homicides this year in the British capital to 57.

That's actually lower than the total this time last year, but there's a growing row about how to deal with knife and gang crime.
