UK FOREIGN SECRETARY: NO-DEAL BREXIT WOULD BE "SUICIDE"

The UK's foreign secretary has warned that the country would be forced into an early general election if a new leader pushes to leave the EU without a deal. 

Jeremy Hunt, a contender to replace Theresa May as Prime Minister, said that could spell the end for the Conservative party.

India invites neighbours for Prime Minister Modi's swearing-in, keeps Pakistan out

With Narendra Modi set to be sworn-in as Prime Minister for the second time on May 30, India has sent out invites to friendly countries for the ceremony.

Austria to appoint new government after Kurz ouster

Austria's president is set to formally remove chancellor Sebastian Kurz from government, a day after Kurz was forced to step down over a video corruption scandal.

Russia defiant after tribunal ruling over Ukrainian sailors

Russia says it will continue to defend its position at a UN Maritime Tribunal which has ruled it should immediately release 24 Ukrainian sailors who have been held since November. Germany's Greens make big gains at European elections

Germany's Green Party is on track to win over twenty percent of the vote in the European elections, the most in the party's history.
