Trump orders intell agencies to cooperate with Barr 'spying' probe


President Trump has ordered Intelligence Agencies to fully cooperate with the US Attorney General's probe into the origins of the 2016 Russia Investigation

Assange faces additional charges

The US Department of Justice has filed seventeen additional charges against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, including for violating the espionage act.

Mr Assange is currently being held in the UK and facing extradition.

UK voters head to polls amid Brexit uncertainty

UK voters are heading to the polls in European Parliament elections.

MEPs will be elected in constituencies across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The vote comes despite the fact the UK government has been trying to deliver Britain's exit from the European Union.

The failure to remove Britain from the bloc yet has contributed to the woes of Prime Minister Theresa May who may be forced to resign as early as Friday.

The newly-formed Brexit party, led by prominent anti-EU politician Nigel Farage, may win the EU elections in the UK, according to polls.

Hong Kong activists granted asylum in Germany

Germany has confirmed that it granted asylum last year to two activists who fled the city of Hong Kong who faced rioting charges at home.


It is the first known case of of a foreign country giving refugee status to pro-democracy campaigners in the Chinese city.

India's Prime Minister expected to win second term

Early leads suggest that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Hindu nationalist Bhartiya Janata Party is set to win a second term in India's elections.

Mr. Modi's party is ahead in 290 seats four hours after counting of about 600 million votes began.

Any party needs 272 seats out of 543 in India's Parliament.
