MAY WORKING ON 'NEW' BREXIT OFFER

UK Prime Minister Theresa May's finalising a 'new and improved' Brexit deal to put before MPs next month.

She hopes to get the package signed off by her cabinet on Tuesday, so lawmakers can vote on the EU Withdrawal Agreement Bill in early June.

Mrs May believes cross-party support can still be won for her Brexit deal.

However, many of her own MPs still say they'll vote against the government - and want her to stand down as leader urgently.

International Development Secretary Rory Stewart is hopeful a deal can get through the House of Commons.
