May Day protesters under arrest for breaking in to Paris hospital
One of Paris' biggest hospitals has filed a legal complaint after protesters broke in during May Day demonstrations.
Over 30 protesters were arrested after breaking into La Pitié-Salpetrière, where Princess Diana died in 1997, and a political row has broken out over whether they were vandalising the hospital, or seeking refuge from tear gas.

French and Italian Presidents meet to commemorate Leonardo da Vinci
French President Emmanuel Macron is meeting his Italian counterpart on Thursday at a Loire chateau where painter Leonardo da Vinci lived, to mark the 500th anniversary of his death.

Trump Seeks Billions in Emergency Border Funds
The White House is asking the US Congress to allocate 4.5 billion dollars in emergency funding for the border between the US and Mexico.
The White House says the funds are necessary to cope with the influx of asylum seekers coming to the United States.

The South African runner Caster Semenya has lost an appeal against The International Association of Athletics Federations rules designed to limit naturally high testosterone levels in some female runners.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport in the Swiss city of Lausanne made the announcement on Wednesday.
It's being called a landmark decision for the future of athletics.

Ebola Crisis
The UN World Health Organization says the Ebola situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo is worsening.
