Wikileaks says it uncovered an extensive spying operation against Julian Assange

Wikileaks has announced that it has uncovered an extensive spying operation against its founder Julian Assange, who has been holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy since 2012.

The allegations have not been able to be independently verified.

Julian Assange sought refuge in Ecuador's embassy in London after being wanted in Sweden in relation to sexual assault claims - he fled to the embassy saying the US would then try to extradite him and prosecute him for leaking thousands of secret diplomatic cables.

Kim's remarks reported in North Korean state media comes after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo agreed this week that the young leader is a 'tyrant.'

And since Kim and President Donald Trump's latest summit ended without a deal, there have been signs from North Korea that it may return to weapons testings.

But there's no clear indication Kim is ready to give up on talks with Trump.

State media also reported Kim again emphasized the need to grow North Korea's economy at the meeting of worker's party officials.

At the same meeting last year, Kim said North Korea no longer needed to test weapons and the government must focus on the economy.
