Facebook claims it takes down 1 million accounts a day ahead of Indian polls

In a bid to keep the Indian election free and fair from interference, both foreign and domestic, Facebook claims it has stepped up efforts to curb the spread of misinformation.

The social media giant claims it is removing around one million abusive accounts every day using artificial intelligence.

US judge blocks Trump plan to keep asylum seekers in Mexico


A judge has temporarily blocked the Trump administration's plan to keep migrants in Mexico while they apply for asylum in the US.

Hollywood actor Felicity Huffman to plead guilty

Hollywood star Felicity Huffman will plead guilty in the college admissions scandal.

US Designates Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as Terrorist Organization

US President Donald Trump has designated Iran's elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a foreign terrorist organization. 


It's the first time the US has named a part of another country's government as such a threat. 


As US correspondent Rachel Silverman reports, it's scheduled to go into effect April 15th.

The head of South Korea's flag carrier and largest airline, Korean Air, has died.

Korean Air says Cho died at a hospital in Los Angeles.

 

The airline didn't give any other details about the 70-year-old chairman's death.

 

Recently Cho's leadership had been overshadowed by legal troubles.

 

He was on trial for corruption.

 

But it was family scandals that dominated headlines.

 

In 2014, one of his daughters was arrested for forcing a Korean Air flight to return to its gate after she was served nuts in a bag… and not on a plate.

 

The infamous incident became known as 'nut rage.'

returns despite a new Democrat push for their release.

Acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney argues that voters
