Trump's controversial Director of Homeland Security resigns

President Trump's Director of Homeland Security, Kirstjen Nielsen, has resigned.


She orchestrated the President's tough anti-immigration policies, including the forced separation of babies from their illegal immigrant parents.

Man arrested over alleged terror plot

A man has been arrested in the United States after allegedly telling a
federal informant that he was plotting a terrorist attack.

The 21-year-old is accused of wanting to join ISIS and was taken into
custody after showing up at a gun range.

France sets up historical commission to investigate French role in Rwandan genocide

French President Emmanuel Macron has appointed a commission of historians to investigate the role played by French troops in the Rwandan genocide.

Boeing Admits to Second Software Problem

Boeing says it has identified a second software problem with its 737 Max aircraft after apologizing to the families and friends of 346 killed in two air crashes.

BOEING ADMITS TO FAULT IN ETHIOPIA MARCH PLANE CRASH

American aircraft manufacturer Boeing says it will rectify the control problem in its 737 max 8 aircrafts that appears to cause an uncontrollable nosedive.

This is after a  preliminary report by Ethiopia into the Ethiopian airlines crash showed that the aircraft developed control issues.

The plane crashed about 6 minutes after take off from the Addis Ababa International airport on 10thMarch , killing all the 157 people on board.

Russia urges dialogue in Venezuela crisis

UK REQUESTS NEW BREXIT DELAY

UK Prime Minister Theresa May's written to the EU, seeking a further extension to Brexit to June 30th.

Brussels sources suggest European Council President Donald Tusk is considering offering a 12 month delay - but giving the UK the ability to leave the bloc sooner if its Parliament passes a deal.

In the UK, the Conservatives and opposition Labour Party continue talks to try and find a Brexit compromise.

Britain is currently due to leave the EU on 12th April.

S. Korea battles wildfires that have killed one and injured dozens

South Korea is battling fatal wildfires along its eastern coast that have shocked a typically peaceful part of the country known for its hiking and ocean views.

More than four-thousand people have been evacuated in cities not far from the border with North Korea.

 

Officials say at least one person has died and dozens of others were injured.

 

The blaze tore through hundreds of homes and other buildings overnight.

 

The government says the main fire is now under control but other smaller fires are still burning.

 

The military deployed thousands of soldiers and dozens of helicopters and fire trucks to battle the inferno.

 

One of the affected cities, Gangneung, hosted events during last year's winter Olympics.

American Tourist Kidnapped in Uganda still Missing
