British MPs are voting on four alternative Brexit proposals.

It comes after the indicative votes staged last week failed to secure majorities, while the Prime Minister's deal was voted down for a third time.

US speeds up border troop deployment

The American government is speeding up the deployment of officers to
the US-Mexico amid plans to close the crossing to migrants.

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said the administration

Five pensioners die from food poisoning at French care home

At least five pensioners have died at a care home in France from suspected food poisoning.

Another 15 are seriously ill and are being treated in hospital.

Shadowy anti-Kim Jong-un group planning 'major event'

The mysterious group claiming to be behind the raid on the North Korean Embassy in Spain says it's planning a 'major event.' It made the announcement shortly after North Korea demanded an investigation into the raid, calling it a terrorist attack.

Another cryptic message.

This time Cheollima Civil Defense saying it's preparing for a major event.

And until then, it says, it will remain silent.

The organization says it's goal is regime change in North Korea.

But it's unclear beyond the embassy raid how it plans on bringing down Kim Jong-un.

On Sunday, the North Korean government called the group a 'small-fry' organization.

Still, it described the break-in as a 'grave terrorist attack' and said members of Cheollima beat embassy staff.

The anti-Kim group, however, claims the raid was non-violent.

UK MPs Second Round of Indicative Votes

MPs in Britain are holding further votes on possible Brexit outcomes in an attempt to break the deadlock.

Last week, British MPs were unable to agree on a way forward through indicative votes, though it is thought a customs union with the EU is the most popular idea being considered.

US doctors complete first-ever HIV kidney transplant

The US has performed what's believed to be the first-ever HIV kidney transplant.

Ride hailing firm Lyft goes public

The ride-hailing company Lyft has opened trading at over $87 a share.

The IPO price was set at $72 per share valuing the company at a little

Germany extends Saudi weapons ban

Germany will extend a ban on weapons exports to Saudi Arabia for another six months, but agreed to a ninth month extension for export licenses that have already been granted.
