Millions Affected by Cyclone Idai

The UN has launched a humanitarian appeal of $20million dollars for those affected by cyclone Idai in the South East coast of Africa.

Its estimated over 1000 people may have perished and the death toll is expected to rise.

Cyclone Idai swept through the countries of Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi, destroying everything in its path.

EU Urges Member States to Finish No Deal Brexit Plans

The European Union's chief Brexit negotiator is warning member states to finalise all preparations for a no deal scenario.


With Brexit scheduled to happen just nine days from now, the EU says most of its institutions have finished their plans for the possibility of a no deal Brexit.

Trump Jr slams May over Brexit negotiations

US President Donald Trump's eldest son has slammed British Prime Minister Theresa May for her handling of Brexit and says the "establishment" is trying to "silence the voices" of voters.

In an opinion piece for the British newspaper The Telegraph, Donald Trump Jr says Theresa May should "have taken my father's advice" on managing Brexit negotiations.

Trump hails Brazil launch site deal

President Trump has hailed a move by Brazil to open a base in the South American country to US satellite launches.

The move is controversial in Brazil where some lawmakers see it as threat to the country's sovereignty.

UK PM Could ask for Brexit delay

It's reported that UK prime Minister Theresa May is writing to the EU, asking for Brexit to be delayed until June 30th.


The UK is supposed to leave the European Union on March 29th, but so far MPs have failed to back the Prime Minister's Brexit deal twice and have indicated they do not want to leave the bloc without a deal.

Campaign groups say the charges were bogus and aimed at suppressing their work.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has pledged a swift crackdown on guns as the city of Christchurch continues to mourn and prepares to bury its dead.

UN expert says Israel exploitation of Palestinian resources violates human rights
