Clinton rules out 2020 election bid

Hillary Clinton has ruled out running for President in the 2020 election.

In 2016 the former secretary of state became the first female
presidential nominee for a major party in the U.S. but lost the
election to Donald Trump.

LONDON PATIENT IN HIV 'REMISSION'

A patient in the UK is in remission from HIV after a stem cell transplant - becoming only the second case of its kind.

He was being treated for cancer, and received chemotherapy as well as a transplant from a donor resistant to HIV.

The London Patient has now had no detectable HIV for 18 months, despite no longer taking drugs to fight it.

A decade ago a patient in Berlin also went into HIV remission after similar treatment.

UK correspondent Olly Barratt says doctors hope it will help them develop new HIV protocols.

More overnight riots in Grenoble

There's been another night of rioting in the French city of Grenoble.

It comes after two teenagers died on Saturday following a police chase.

UK Negotiators Come Back to Brussels

UK Brexit negotiators are heading back to Brussels Tuesday to continue to get concessions on the controversial Irish backstop.


Time to get changes on the deal is nearing an end—with MPs set to vote on the deal again next week.

Macron appeals to voters across Europe in open letter

French President Emmanuel Macron has written an open letter to European citizens, published in newspapers in all 28 EU countries on Tuesday.

UK GOVT BATTLES KNIFE CRIME CRISIS

The UK government's being urged to treat knife crime as seriously as terrorism.

The call from former government minister Vernon Coaker comes amid a growing political crisis over the issue.

The number of children under 16 who were stabbed in England jumped 93% between 2016 and 2018.

The government is denying claims from critics that the spike in knife crime is due to austerity and police cuts.

His government is now pushing for three-way talks among Seoul, Washington and Pyongyang.

US president Donald Trump has announced plans to end its preferential trade status for India, which allows some products to be imported into the United States duty free. 

This comes as the US has been striving to end what it describes as unfair trade practices. It is also ending Turkey's preferential trade status.

Victoria Skripal, the niece of the poisoned double agent Sergei Skripal, says she believes her uncle is dead - exactly a year to the day since the attack.
