UK PM accused of running down the clock as she outlines next stages of Brexit

UK Prime Minister Theresa May has urged MPs to 'hold their nerve' as the government undertakes further discussions with the European Union.

The British Government says it is attempting to get a Brexit deal that the British Parliament is likely to vote through.

But in laying out the next steps of the Brexit process, Prime Minister has been accused of running down the clock - implying that she is trying to make MPs vote for a deal they are not happy with, in order to avoid a no-deal Brexit

— something the British government knows there is little appetite for within Parliament.

The Government ruled out entering into the EU's customs Union, as put forward by the Opposition Labour Party but Theresa May did not give a date for a meaningful vote on any changes to the current Brexit Deal.
