Three days of trade talks between the United States and China have
ended on a positive note.
China's Commerce Ministry said talks were extensive and that both
parties would remain in close contact.
These midlevel talks held in China marked the first face-to-face
meetings since a temporary truce in the trade war was declared back in
December.
The U.S. has accused Beijing of unfair trade practices and the two
nations have slapped tariffs on one another worth billions of dollars.

UN envoy to Yemen says both sides "largely adhered" to ceasefire
The Yemeni government and Houthi rebels have largely kept to their ceasefire deal in Hudaydah, according to the UN's envoy to the war-torn country.
Briefing the UN Security Council, Special envoy Martin Griffiths said there has been a scale-back in hostilities since a breakthrough deal was struck in Stockholm late last year.

Defectors call for safety of missing N. Korean diplomat
North Korean defectors in Seoul are calling for the governments of Italy and South Korea to protect a North Korean diplomat who has gone missing. Pyongyang's envoy in Rome, Jo Song-gil, and his wife haven't been seen since early November.

Drone sighting stops flights at London Heathrow airport
Departures at London's Heathrow airport were temporarily stopped after police said a drone was sighted near the airport.
Flights resumed one hour later. A Heathrow spokesperson said it was a "precautionary measure". Last month, drone sightings near London's Gatwick Airport caused chaos - with hundreds of flights cancelled.
