MAY HEADS TO BRUSSELS AHEAD OF BREXIT SUMMIT

UK Prime Minister Theresa May heads to Brussels later (Wednesday) for talks on Britain's future relationship with the EU.

She's under pressure from her MPs to not to give any further ground in negotiations, and even to try and win some clarifications to the draft withdrawal deal agreed with Brussels.

EU leaders meet in Brussels on Sunday to sign off on a Brexit deal.

Mrs May would then have to put that to the UK's Parliament.

UK correspondent Olly Barratt says her visit to Brussels is being closely watched.

Twitter CEO sparks off controversy in India

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is at the centre of a caste related controversy in India- the company's fastest growing market.

While on a trip to New Delhi, Dorsey was photographed holding up a poster calling for 'smashing Brahminical patriarchy'. This has led to many people accusing him of inciting hate against India's highest caste.

Pompeo warns South Korea of improving ties with Pyongyang too quickly

The U.S. Secretary of State has urged South Korea not to improve ties
with North Korea quicker than Pyongyang's progress with
denuclearization.

Seoul has previously called for more incentives to encourage North
Korea to abandon its nuclear and missile programs.

Lawmakers call for further investigations into Khashoggi's murder

Turkey's foreign minister says Ankara isn't satisfied with the level
of cooperation from Saudi Arabia over the killing of journalist Jamal
Khashoggi.

The CIA in the United States believes Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin
Salman could well have known about the murder but President Trump has
strongly defended his country's ties with Saudi Arabia.

But leaders from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee have sent a
letter to the President calling on him to determine whether MBS was
responsible for the journalist's death.

Race to Identify Victims of Camp Fire

US set to add Venezuela to terror list

The US government is set to ratchet up tensions with Venezuela.

The Trump administration is reportedly set to add the South American nation to its list of state sponsors of terrorism.

Expressing no sympathy for Khashoggi family, Trump proclaims US ties with Saudi Arabia

UN condemns Kabul bombing of religious leaders

The United Nations says it is "outraged" by the suicide bombing of a

Trump: US will remain "steadfast partner" of Saudi Arabia despite Khashoggi murder

President Trump says Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia may have "had knowledge" of the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, but the US plans to remain a "steadfast partner" of the kingdom nonetheless.


In a statement, the President called the murder of Mr. Khashoggi "an unacceptable and horrible crime".
