Indian Prime Minister conferred UN's highest environmental award

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been awarded the United Nation's highest environmental honour for 'pioneering work in championing the International Solar Alliance and promoting new areas of cooperation on environmental action'.

Mr Modi shares the Champions of the Earth award with French President Emmanuel Macron.

US Ends Diplomatic Visas for Same-Sex Partners

Unmarried, same-sex partners of foreign diplomats will no longer be eligible for visas to come to the United States. 

The Trump administration has revoked former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton's 2009 decision to allow same sex domestic partners of foreign officials diplomatic visas.

France freezes Iranian assets over alleged attack attempt
