The woman who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct came out publicly in an interview with the Washington Post this weekend.

Christine Blasey Ford said the Judge held her down and groped her when they were in High School - Kavanaugh has denied the allegations.

Hurricane Florence claims 4 lives as "violent grind" continues

At least four people are dead after Hurricane Florence slammed ashore in North Carolina.

A mother and child were killed when a tree fell on their house in the city of Wilmington, and two other people died elsewhere in the state.

South, North Korea hold military talks ahead of inter-Korean summit

The North and South Korean military delegations met on the North Korean side of the demilitarized zone.

They agreed to create a special zone in waters west of the Korean Peninsula where there have been fatal military clashes within the past ten years.

Warships will not be able to enter the zone. And live-fire exercises would be banned there.

They also discussed drawing down patrol posts along the DMZ and excavating war dead from that buffer zone.

The talks to limit military threats from returning come ahead of South Korean President Moon Jae-in's summit next week in Pyongyang with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Salisbury nerve agent suspects 'just wanted to see city's famous cathedral'

The men accused of carrying out a nerve agent attack on British soil have told a Russian TV station that they were tourists who just wanted to see Salisbury cathedral.
