Koreas Announce Meeting to Discuss Third Inter-Korean Summit

South Korea's Unification Ministry says a high level meeting will take place with North Korean officals on Monday to discuss a potential third summit between the leaders of both countries.

It comes as relations between the US and North Korea appear to be straining.

Russia begins to react with incredulity to new US sanctions

A Russian diplomat to the UN has described the US State Department's decision to implement new sanctions against Russia as a 'theatre of the absurd'. US to hit Russia with sanctions over UK nerve agent poisoning

The US is introducing new sanctions against Russia to punish the Kremlin for the country's involvement in the poisoning of former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter in the British town of Salisbury earlier this year.


It's the first time the Trump administration has officially accused the Russians of breaking international law by using the nerve agent Novichok on British soil.

Ethiopia signs peace deal with rebel group

Ethiopia has signed a reconciliation agreement with one of its rebel groups, the Oromo Liberation Front. The agreement creates the basis for an end to violence by the faction that has for decades been referred to as a terrorist group by the Ethiopian government.

More US tariffs on China escalates trade war

Facebook denies WSJ report it was seeking user's financial data
