Germany, Spain agree migrant deal

Spain has agreed to take back migrants from Germany who have previously applied for asylum with Spanish authorities.

The deal is the first of its kind between European Union countries.

Ethiopia signs peace deal with rebel group

Ethiopia has signed a reconciliation agreement with one of its rebel groups, the Oromo Liberation Front. The agreement creates the basis for an end to violence by the faction that has for decades been referred to as a terrorist group by the Ethiopian government.

CALLS FOR BORIS TO BE DISCIPLINED OVER BURQA REMARKS

Former UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson is facing calls for him to be kicked out of the governing Conservative Party over remarks he made about the Burka.

However, Mr Johnson is standing by comments he made in a newspaper column, despite a growing row about claims of Islamophobia.

Veteran Indian politician Muthuvel Karunanidhi passes away at 94

More US tariffs on China escalates trade war

Facebook denies WSJ report it was seeking user's financial data
