Trump thanks Kim Jong -un over return of 'U.S. soldier remains'


President Trump has praised North Korea's leader Kim for sending what are thought to be the remains of U.S. soldiers killed during the Korean War.

Health experts to fight new Ebola outbreak in DRC

An international team of experts has arrived in the Democratic

Ethiopia gives Missing Soldiers Amnesty

BoE raises interest rates by a quarter of a per cent



Britain's Bank of England has raised the interest rate for the second time in a decade, with the base rate rising from 0.5 per cent to 0.75 per cent. 


The quarter point increase takes the level to the highest since March 2009 and had been widely expected.   From London, Catherine Drew reports.

Indian government puts Air India disinvestment plan on hold for now

Presumed remains of US troops returned from North Korea

The presumed remains of some US troops killed in the Korean war have been repatriated in Hawaii after North Korea handed over 55 caskets last week.

US officials say the remains were accompanied by just one military ID tag. Forensic testing to identify the personnel could take months.

Trump calls on US Attorney General to end Russia probe

President Trump has called on his Attorney General Jeff Sessions to end the Russia investigation

During a volley of tweets, Trump said Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe was a rigged witch-hunt.

Remains of US Soldiers Who Died in Korean War En Route to Hawaii

The remains of American soldiers who died in the Korean War are being flown back to the US.

North Korea returned 55 boxes of skeletal remains on Friday.

US Suspends Trade Benefits for Rwanda
