Facebook shares have plummeted nearly 20%, erasing $120 billion dollars from the company's value.

It follows its earnings report that missed revenue expectations.

Australia's publisher Fairfax to be swallowed up by Nine Entertainment

Australia's Fairfax Media will be taken over by TV giant Nine Entertainment in a takeover analysts fear will further reduce media diversity in Australia but which has the backing of the federal government.
The merger, which would create a $4 billion media giant, needs consumer watchdog approval but has been made possible by changes to media ownership laws introduced by the current government.

Death toll rises after wildfires ripped through Greece
