Italy plans to block foreign naval vessels carrying migrants from its ports

Italy's far right interior minister wants to ban foreign naval vessels carrying migrants from docking in Italian ports.

Matteo Salvini has already stopped charity operated boats from arriving after they rescue migrants from smuggler's boats.

UK MURDER INQUIRY AFTER WOMAN DIES FROM NERVE AGENT EXPOSURE

British police have launched a murder inquiry after a woman died, following exposure to a nerve agent.

44 year-old Dawn Sturgess died in hospital - her partner remains critically ill in Wiltshire.

It comes after the poisoning of a former spy and his daughter in Salisbury.

Indian Minister fetes eight lynching convicts

A junior minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government has earned flak after he was seen honouring eight men who were convicted for lynching a cattle trader in 2017.

A mob of more than 100 cow vigilantes had hacked the cattle trader to death in the Indian state of Jharkhand on the suspicion that he was carrying beef in his car. A majority of Hindus consider the cow to be a holy animal and cow slaughter is banned in many Indian states.

Crowds cheer Russia national team

Tens of thousands of Russian football fans gathered in the World Cup Fan Zone in Moscow to thank their team, after a narrow defeat to Croatia.

Britain's Brexit Secretary steps down

British woman died after contact with nerve agent

California wildfires: Governor declares state of emergency


The latest wildfire in Northern California has led the governor to declare a state of emergency.

CCTV footage proves Delhi mass suicide theory

Police officers investigating the mass suicide of a family of eleven in New Delhi say that CCTV footage recovered from outside their house proves that the hangings were premeditated.
