The children would need to be taught diving skills to be brought out - and experts warn it would be a high-risk operation.

Rescuers are trying to get more food and medical supplies to the group, and to install technology to allow them to speak to their families.

Bill Whitehouse from the British Cave Rescue Council, which has been assisting the operation, says whatever happens next will be complicated.

More details emerge in Delhi mass suicide case

A day after eleven members of a family were dead in a house in Delhi, investigators say they have found evidence that shows that the family didn't believe they would die. 

Investigators say the family believed that attempting suicide would bring them 'salvation' and that two diaries found in the house show the 'ritual' was planned well in advance.

The family was found hanging from the ceiling of their home with faces covered, mouths taped and hands tied behind the back.

Australian archbishop sentenced to 12 months detention

Man accused of July 4th terror plot

A man has been arrested in the United States accused of expressing a desire to carry out a terrorist act during the July 4th celebrations.


Demetrius Pitts is believed to have said this to an undercover agent working for the FBI.


The agency has been monitoring Pitts for over a year and he is believed to have expressed support for Al Qaeda. 


The FBI say Pitts expressed a desire to carry out multiple attacks, starting with the Independence Day celebrations in Cleveland, Ohio.

However, the compromise involves setting up controversial transit centers on Germany's border with Austria to deport migrants quickly.

Twelve boys found alive after 10 days in Thailand cave

Twelve boys and their football coach have been found alive after 10 days trapped inside a cave in Thailand

The team was found by rescuers who successfully navigated the winding underground complex.

After a soccer practice last month, the players, aged between 11 and 16,entered the 10km Tham Luang caves in the northern part of the country.

A huge search operation was launched when they failed to return home, with rescuers facing a race against time to find them as torrential rain threatened to flood parts of the cave.

US plans North Korea denuclearization within a year

US National Security Advisor John Bolton says the plan to denuclearize North Korea could be complete within a year.
