New tiny species frog discovered in Indian state of Karnataka

A new tiny species of frog has been discovered in the south of India. 

The frog is only found in one small industrial area in the city of Mangalore.

Russia fines World Cup hotels for overcharging

MSU reaches $500mln settlement for victims of Larry Nassar abuse


Victims of former Michigan State University doctor Larry Nassar will receive 500-million dollars after MSU settled lawsuits over his abuse.

US Senate votes to keep net neutrality rules in place

The US Senate has delivered a blow to President Trump over the issue of net neutrality - whether internet companies will be allowed to charge more or slow down the delivery of various types of content.

The Senate has voted to keep in place rules that ensured a level playing field for all internet users, arguing this was necessary to protect the interests of consumers.

Pressure increases on Trump with new revelations on adult film star payment and Trump Tower Russian meeting

The pressure from the scandals surrounding US president Donald Trump increased on Wednesday.

It's been revealed he did make a payment ot his lawyer for costs apparely incurred in paying an adult film star for a non-disclosure agreement.
Plus a transcript of his son's interview with senators suggests he may have called his father after setting up a meeting with Russian agents during the campaign.

Trump "hopeful" summit with Kim Jong Un can still go ahead

Former CIA engineer named as prime suspect in massive leak

A former CIA software engineer has been named as the prime suspect in a massive leak of secret documents.

In March of last year, Wikileaks published thousands of leaked documents about the CIA's cyberwarfare program — including details on how the spy agency can turn smart phones and smart televisions into surveillance devices.

This despite threats from North Korea to pull out of the talks, due to take place in Singapore.

North Korea doubles-down on threat to ditch Trump-Kim summit
