Israel and Palestinian representatives trade accusations at UN

The United Nations has held an emergency meeting in the wake of the
deadly violence in Gaza.

58 Palestinians are believed to have died on Monday when Israeli
forces opened fire on protestors at the border.

It was the worst day of violence there since 2014.

This follows weeks of demonstrations at the Gaza border fence as part
of a movement called the Great March of Return.

and Palestine accused each other of committing war crimes.

The U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley defended Washington's
decision to move their embassy to Jerusalem and blamed Hamas for the
violence.
