Trump Threatens to Make Border Enforcement Part of NAFTA Negotiations

In a series of tweets, President Trump has threatened to bar asylum seeking Central American migrants from entering the US. 

He's also threatening to make stricter border enforcement a demand in NAFTA negotiations with Mexico.

Unarmed man who took down Nashville shooter speaks out

The unarmed man who wrestled a gun from a man who opened fire at a Waffle House restaurant in Nashville on Sunday says he's no hero.

But officials say twenty-nine year-old James Shaw Jr.'s courageous act prevented numerous deaths.

UN urges training to spot airline human trafficking

The United Nations is calling on airlines to train all staff in how to spot human trafficking.

It's a boy: Duchess of Cambridge gives birth to son


The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a boy - her third child with the UK's Prince William. 

The baby was born just after 11am local time, abut five hours after Kate was admitted into hospital in the early stages of labour.

Modi, Xi to hold informal talks in China

India and China have announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Xi Jinping will be meeting later this week for a first ever 'informal summit'.

Both nations have indicated this is an attempt to dramatically reset ties in the backdrop of the 73-day military standoff between Indian and Chinese militaries at Doklam last year.

Sources say that the two day summit is going to be informal in nature- there will be no bilateral delegation accompanying the two leaders.

Macron begins US visit urging Trump to stay in Iran deal

As French President Emmanuel Macron begins a three day state visit to the US, he is calling on the American president not to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal.

Migrant caravan reaches US-Mexico border

About fifty Central American migrants who were crossing Mexico have arrived at the U.S. border.

The group set out from southern Mexico a month ago, and was initially made up of some 1500 people.

But its size diminished under pressure from US President Trump and officials in Mexico.

Reports: Prince Charles chosen to be next head of Commonwealth
