BREAKING: Trump, UK and France launch air strikes on Syria

President Trump has announced that the US, Britain and France have launched what he called "precision air strikes" on Syria.


There are reports of loud explosions in the capital Damascus.


The President said the aim is to degrade Syria's access to chemical weapons stockpiles.

Hotel room auditions to be banned after sexual harassment scandals

President Trump tweets new conditions for US joining TPP

President Trump Pardons Scooter Libby

President Trump has granted a full pardon to  Scooter Libby. 

Libby is a veteran of the George W. Bush administration who was convicted in 2007 of obstructing justice, perjury, and lying to the FBI.

Syria: UN chief frustrated at lack of unity

The United Nations chief has expressed his frustration that the UN

UK intel: Russia tested nerve agent on door handles before Skripal case

The UK has released previously classified intelligence that it says further links Russia to the poisoning of one of its former spies with nerve agent in Salisbury last month.

Two Indian athletes sent home from Commonwealth Games for breach of no-needle policy

India to push for death penalty for a minor's rape

Amid widespread outrage and anger over the rape and murder of an 8-year-old girl, the Indian government has said that it will push for the death penalty for those found guilty of raping children below 12-years of age.

According to Indian media reports, the minor was given sedatives and raped several times by different men over three days in January. Police documents say that she would have been killed sooner had one man not insisted on waiting so he could rape her a final time.
