U.S. officials “unhappy” with Tesla for releasing information about ongoing probe

U.S transportation officials have said they are "unhappy" that Tesla released information related to the fatal crash of one of its vehicles late last month.

Tesla said, in a blog post, that one of its Model X vehicles had its so-called "autopilot" mode activated just before it hit a highway barrier, killing the driver.

This comes as federal investigators are looking into this crash AND a January collision between a Tesla and a fire truck , in which the Tesla is also believed to have been operating with the autopilot system.
