US to expel 60 Russian diplomats

The Trump administraion will expel 60 Russians and order the closure of a consulate in Seattle.

The moves are in retaliation in part for the Russian government's alleged poisoning of a former spy living in the United Kingdom.

Attacker's girlfriend was known to French police

French media say the girlfriend of Redouane Lakdim, who killed four people in a terror attack on Friday, was known to police as a suspected radical Islamist.

Ethiopia arrests journalists

Ethiopia has reportedly arrested eleven journalists and members of opposition parties. The arrests happened Sunday as the some of the people targeted were celebrating their recent release from prison.

Indian journalist, who reported on the sand mafia, mowed to death

In the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, a journalist was crushed to death after a truck ran him over.

Puigdemont awaits hearing in Germany

Many children are missing in deadly fire in Siberia

At least 37 people have died in a fire at a shopping centre in the Siberian coal-mining city of Kemerovo.  Dozens of people are still missing, most of them children.  Three people have been detained in connection with the investigation.  TASS reports one of them is the shopping centre's director. Stormy Daniels alleges she was threatened over Trump affair

Facebook takes out newspaper ads to apologize

Facebook is taking to the print media to offer an apology.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg took out full-page ads in papers across the United States and the UK on Sunday to apologize for the Cambridge Analytica privacy scandal.

In the ads, Zuckerberg described the episode as "a breach of trust" and offered his apologies that the company didn't do more at the time.

US Reveals Charges Against Alleged Iranian Hacking Ring


The US Justice Department has charged nine Iranian citizens with stealing information from more than 100 American universities, dozens of companies and several  government agencies.  

Law enforcement officials say the suspects are part of a huge cyber theft operation backed by the Iranian government.

And as Technology Correspondent Rachel Silverman reports,  their targets are also alleged to have included the United Nations, and universities and companies outside of the U.S.

Wall St falls on trade war fears

Global markets fell on Friday following fears of a international trade
