Former South African President Jacob Zuma to Face Trial on Corruption Charges

The charges include money laundering, fraud and racketeering.

Syrian civilians at "tip of a collapse"

The United Nations special envoy for Syria says the people in the
besieged area of Eastern Ghouta are at the "tip of a collapse".

Staffan De Mistura was briefing the UN Security Council nearly a month
after it approved a country-wide ceasefire, which has not come into
effect.

De Mistura noted there had been an escalation of fighting since then.

The UN envoy said the conditions in Eastern Ghouta were startling.

UN discusses Syria amid mass exodus

The United Nations Security Council is meeting to discuss the
humanitarian situation in Syria amid reports more than 50,000 people
have fled their homes in the last few days.

The mass exodus from major conflict zones is one of the largest in the

Ethiopia and Somali feud over Somaliland port

Putin urges Russians to vote amid fears of voter boycott

Two Indian airlines cancel over 600 flights at short notice

Two Indian budget carriers, Indigo and GoAir, have announced that they will be cancelling over 600 flight in March after the country's aviation watchdog ordered the grounding of 11 Airbus aircraft because of recurring engine failures.

This move is expected to hit thousands of air travellers and has also lead to airfares soaring.

Toys R Us seeks to halt payments ahead of liquidation

Toys R Us, has asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for permission to stop
paying its suppliers while it lines up buyers for its international
business.

The plans to liquidate North American stores has put 30,000 jobs at risk.

It's not only U.S. stores that are likely to be affected. Ones in
France, Spain, Poland and Australia will likely be liquidated, while
it looks to sell shops in Canada, Central Europe and Asia.

UK Allies: Spy attack an “assault on UK's sovereignty”

India moves to make healthcare more affordable

India is trying to make essential diagnostic tests free of cost at public hospitals.

The country's Health Ministry is currently in the process of compiling a list of diseases and infections that would fall under the purview of essential lab tests.
