MOSCOW 'WILL EXPEL UK DIPLOMATS'

Russia says it will expel a number of British diplomats as ties worsen after a nerve agent attack on a former spy in the UK.

British investigators say 131 people were potentially exposed to the chemical used in Salisbury on March 4th.

Former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter remain in a critical condition after the attack.

The UK says Russia is culpable and is expelling 23 diplomats.

Moscow denies involvement.

Labour MP Hillary Benn says the UK response should be robust as investigations continue.

Toys R Us seeks to halt payments ahead of liquidation

Toys R Us, has asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for permission to stop
paying its suppliers while it lines up buyers for its international
business.

The plans to liquidate North American stores has put 30,000 jobs at risk.

It's not only U.S. stores that are likely to be affected. Ones in
France, Spain, Poland and Australia will likely be liquidated, while
it looks to sell shops in Canada, Central Europe and Asia.

UK Allies: Spy attack an “assault on UK's sovereignty”

The leaders of Germany, France, the United States and the United Kingdom issued a joint statement demeaning answers from Russia over the attack of a former British spy in the UK.

The statement called for Russia to disclose information to international authorities about the nerve agent program the UK believes was involved in the attack.

US imposes sanctions on Russia over election meddling

The United States government has imposed sanctions on 19 Russian
individuals and 5 groups over allegations of meddling in the 2016 US
Presidential election.

It's the strongest response yet to Russia's alleged cyber attacks.

Ethiopia appeals for urgent humanitarian assistance

India moves to make healthcare more affordable

India is trying to make essential diagnostic tests free of cost at public hospitals.

The country's Health Ministry is currently in the process of compiling a list of diseases and infections that would fall under the purview of essential lab tests.

Thousands of students walk out of classes to call for gun control

Thousands of students across the U.S. walked out of their classes on Thursday, calling for stricter gun control.

The protest was sparked by the recent school shooting in Florida that left 17 people dead.
