Man kills himself at US embassy in Montenegro

A man threw what appears to be a grenade and then blew himself up at the U.S. embassy in Podgrorica, Montenegro.

The attempteed bombing has been condemned and officials are trying to figure out what happened.

Trump endorses guns for teachers to stop shootings

US President Donald Trump has expressed support for arming school teachers during a White House event on gun violence.

The president also said his administration would be "very strong on background checks".

 A chicken shortage hitting UK and Irish branches of KFC has left customers feeling peckish after hundreds of shops have been forced to close.

Parkland students take gun control issue to FL legislature

Thousands of people are protesting in Florida's capital, pushing for new gun control legislation.

The rally is being led by students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School where 17 people were killed in a mass shooting last week.

Senior Commander of Rebel Group The Allied Democratic Forces Killed in DRC

Uganda's military confirms a senior commander of the Allied Democratic Forces has been killed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The American evangelist Billy Graham has died at the age of 99.


Often considered the man who invented the modern evangelical movement, he claimed that he had preached the Gospel to more people than anyone else in history.


His "revival meetings" and "crusades" were a fixture on the American social landscape for more than 60 years, and he was revered by successive US Presidents.


His ministry found fame in 1949, when he pitched a circus tent in Los Angeles and started preaching the word with a style and showmanship that few Americans had seen before.

UK Supreme Court rules against police in 'black cab rapist' appeal

The Metropolitan Police of London has lost an appeal in Britain's Supreme Court against two victims of the so-called 'black cab rapist'.

The two women had won compensation after police failed to believe their reports of being raped by John Worboys, who's thought to have sexually assaulted more than 100 women in the back of his taxi. 

The ruling could open the away for more human rights claims against the police.

Following the court's decision, one of the two victims said officers could have done more to prevent Worboys' attacks.
