German coalition talks extend into Monday

Germany's leading parties failed to meet a self-imposed Sunday deadline to finalize an agreement on a new governing coalition and are continuing negotiations.


Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservatives have governed together with the center-left Social Democrats since twenty thirteen, but have yet to strike a new deal more than four months after federal elections.

India begins talks to buy Israeli missiles

India and Israel are expected to finalise a deal for New Delhi to purchase 3000 anti-tank missiles from Tel Aviv.

The $500 million deal was cancelled by the Indian government last year but was put back on track after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's bilateral talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his maiden India visit last month.

Two dead as passenger, freight train collide in US

Two people are dead after an Amtrak passenger train crashed into a freight train near Columbia, South Carolina.

Germany's two leading parties have said they hope to finalize an agreement to form a coalition government on Sunday, more than four months since federal elections.

DISGRACED DOCTOR ATTACKED IN COURT

The former US Gymnastics Olympic team doctor, Larry Nassar, was almost
attacked in court during his latest hearing.

Randall Margraves lunged at the disgraced doctor. He's the father of
three victims, who Nassar abused.

Republicans release memo accusing FBI/DOJ of anti-trump bias

US Imposes Arms Embargo on South Sudan

The United States has imposed  an arms embargo on South Sudan.

The civil war has pushed 1.5 million people to the brink of famine and millions have fled the conflict in the world's youngest country.

Strong US jobs & wage growth

LONDON VAN ATTACKER SENTENCED TO LIFE

The man who drove a van into Muslim worshippers outside a London mosque last year has been sentenced to life in prison.

Theresa May heads back from China to face calls over Brexit stance
