Trump blames "Sloppy Steve" for Wolff book, after asserting his own sanity.

President Trump has again denied ever giving an interview to the author of a best-selling book about his Presidency, and he's blamed his former Chief Strategist Steven Bannon for giving author Michael Wolff unfettered access to the West Wing of the White House.


The President defended his early morning Tweets in which he denied that he's suffering from any decline in mental health.

Never doubted Pres. Trump - Sec. Tillerson

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is refusing to comment on the capability of Donald Trump to serve as U.S. President.

Questions have arisen in Washington following the publication of Michael Wolff's book "Fire and Fury" and after a series of stumbles in public appearances and interviews.

Investigations into the Clintons reopened

Copies of the controversial new release "Fire and Fury" are flying off the shelves in the US, just hours after it went onsale.

The book by Michael Wolff reveals inside details on the Trump campaign and the first family, including an explosive claim by interviewee Steve Bannon that Donald Trump's son took a treasonous meeting with the Russians during the presidential campaign.

Donald Trump has decried the claims, and his lawyers tried to stop its publication - but the book has already found its way into the public.

UK MPs calling for a levy on disposable coffee cups

A committee of UK MPs has called for a 25 pence (/34 cents) charge on takeaway coffee cups and wants to see disposable cups banned completely by 2023.


That's because structure of the cups makes them hard to recycle - as they are bonded with a polythene liner which is difficult to remove.

UK ROW OVER PAROLE FOR SERIAL SEX ATTACKER

There's outcry in the UK over the release from prison of a man who's thought to have carried out over 100 rapes and sexual assaults.

Former black cab driver John Worboys was convicted in 2009 of 19 charges of drugging and sexually assaulting women passengers, and one of rape.

But London police say other women then came forward and his suspected number of total victims is over 100.

The Parole Board has ruled he can be released from prison on strict conditions after a decade in custody.

Indian media outlet claims massive government data breach

An Indian newspaper has claimed that its investigation has revealed how the government's flagship biometric registration program database is open to breach.
