Derailment means infrastructure spending - Pres. Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump says the train derailment by Olympia, the capital city of Washington State illustrates the need for significant spending on repairing and rebuilding infrastructure.

The Democrats have already submitted legislation to spend up to $1B on infrastructure, a proposal the White House has ignored, while it's also cut spending in the latest federal budget.

On social media, U.S. President Donald Trump blamed military intervention in the Middle East for the state of America's bridges and roads.
