UN to continue Burundi investigation

The United Nations Human Rights Council has voted to press ahead with
an investigation looking into suspected crimes against humanity in
Burundi.

A number of African nations voted against the measure and Burundi
hoped its cooperation with the UN human rights office would be
sufficient to see the probe dropped.

William Denselow reports from UN headquarters in New York.

Russia's communications watchdog issued a warming to the U.S. TV network CNN over a "trivial violation" of the country's law on media. The sanction came a day after Moscow accused Washington of pressuring the US branch of Russia's state-funded propaganda channel Russia Today (RT). Several US bodies investigating Moscow's meddling in last year's US Presidential election had earlier highlighted RT as one of the Kremlin's key propaganda tools. Our correspondent Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.

Sec. Price to 'reimburse U.S. taxpayers' over use of private jets

The White House and Health and Human Services Secretary, Tom Price is coming under growing pressure over his use of private and military jets.

Instead of using commercial flights Price has reportedly run-up costs around 400-thousand dollars to the U.S. tax-payer for multiple overseas trips.

Price has promised partial reimbursement to the tune of fifty-two thousand dollars - a figure that covers the cost of his seat but not military aspects of the travel.

President Trump said he 'wasn't happy' with Price's behavior - the Health and Human Services Secretary is now promising to use commercial flights for all future government work.
