India's government has formed a new economic advisory council, as it looks for ways to try to boost slowing economic growth.

The council will be led by a Cambridge-educated economist Bibek Debroy.

Pentagon warns North Korea over escalation of crisis

The Pentagon says North Korea needs to end its provocative actions in the Korean Peninsula, or else President Trump will be presented with military options to strike Pyongyang.

Myanmar army discover more bodies; UN workers see cases of sexual violence

Medical workers attending to Rohingya Muslims who have fled Myanmar are reporting injuries consistent with violent sexual attacks.

At the same time came news that Myanmar's army had unearthed 17 more bodies of Hindu villagers believed killed by Muslim insurgents.

The violence on both sides point to the complexities of the crisis.

Trump staffers should use government email

White House staffers have been repeatedly instructed to only use government email for official business.

Jared Kushner's attorney confirmed his client did set up a private email address and send some messages concerning government business using that email.

During the 2016 election, then candidate Donald Trump said Hillary Clinton should be locked up for her use of a private email server.

US hopes for unified Iraq as Kurds vote


The White House is hoping Iraq remains unified, as Kurdistan holds a non-binding referedum on independence.

North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho has told reporters outside the United Nations that U.S. President Donald Trump has declared war on his country.

At the UN General Assembly, the foreign minister said that the firing of rockets at the American mainland was inevitable.
