10 EU countries back plan to tax digital giants

EU finance ministers from 10 countries have backed a plan to crack down on digital giants like Google, Amazon and Facebook - by taxing them on their revenue instead of profits.
Tech multinationals currently often declare their profits in low-tax countries - leading many to say they aren't paying enough.

Top US, Russian diplomats meet ahead of UNGA

UK POLICE QUESTION TUBE BOMB SUSPECTS

British media are naming one of the suspects arrested over Friday's tube bomb as 21 year-old Yahyah Farroukh.

He's thought to have lived at a house in Surrey with an elderly couple well known for fostering child refugees.

An 18 year-old arrested on Saturday at the port of Dover is also thought to have lived there - he reportedly moved to the UK from Iraq at the age of 15.

The device which detonated at Parsons Green on Friday left 30 people injured.

Emmy Awards Round-up: Hollywood's Biggest Night in TV

Hollywood's biggest night in TV has been held in Los Angeles.

Woman arrested after 4 women injured in acid attack in France

A 41-year old woman has been arrested after four American women were sprayed with acid in an attack in France.
They are all students of Boston College, taking part in the university's study abroad program.

Vicious terror attack on London - Pres. Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump is now making a much more formal statement following the terror attack on the London underground which injured 22.

The Islamic State has now claimed responsibility for the attack, while the threat level has been raised in London.

British officials have said repeatedly, that uninformed speculation about the attacks is unhelpful.
