Car Plows into Bus Shelters in Marseille

Police in the southern French city of Marseille are telling people to avoid the city's old port after a car plowed into two bus shelters.

One person is confirmed dead, a second injured and the driver is already in custody.

Manhunt for Barcelona attacks suspect extended across Europe

The manhunt for suspected driver of the van used in the terror attack in Barcelona has been extended across Europe.

250 dead in floods in North India

Ten US sailors missing after warship collides with oil tanker off Singapore


Ten US sailors are missing, five more are injured and search and rescue operations are underway after a US Navy warship collided with an oil tanker off the coast of Singapore.

The collision is the latest in a string of similar incidents involving American naval ships this year.

Senior Democrats call for further White House shake-up after Steve Bannon's exit


There's more fallout from White House chief strategist Steve Bannon's departure...with senior Democrats calling for key Bannon allies to go too.

On Friday the White House announced that Mr Bannon was leaving his job by mutual consent...but reports suggest the controversial figure was removed by US President Donald Trump.

And Congressman Adam Schiff...the senior Democrat in the powerful House Intelligence Committee....told CNN's Jake Tapper on Sunday that he wants to see others from President Trump's team leave the West Wing soon:
