14 PEOPLE DEAD AFTER SPAIN ATTACKS

Spanish media say an 18 year-old named Moussa Oubakir is suspected of being the driver of the van which killed 14 people in Barcelona on Thursday.

He's still being sought in a huge manhunt, and is suspected of using his brother's identification to rent the vehicle which was driven into crowds on Las Ramblas.

A woman injured in a later attack in the town of Cambrils has now died.

That attack is being linked to the Barcelona incident.

Russia denies giving lake to Kazakhstan

Authorities in Spain prevent 2nd attack [CLIPS]

Police in Spain have announced they've stopped an attempted attack
just hours after a van drove into a crowd of people in Barcelona
killing at least 13 people.

Authorities say that four people in Cambrils have been killed during
the police raid.

Spain's Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said the incident in Barcelona's
busy Las Ramblas avenue was a jihadist attack and the so-called
Islamic State have claimed responsibility.

Two people have been arrested but police say neither man was driving the van.

Those living in Cambrils south of Barcelona were urged by officials to

Navy: U.S. Sailors To Be Punished for Collision Near Tokyo Bay

About a dozen U.S. sailors are expected to face punishment for a
collision in June between the USS Fitzgerald and a cargo ship from the
Philippines. The incident left seven US sailors dead, in what was the
greatest loss of life on a U.S. Navy vessel since 2000 when a US ship
was bombed in Yemen.

It finalizes a lawsuit brought on behalf of three former detainees who were tortured using their technique.

US condemns Barcelona terror attack

The U.S. is condemning the attack on Barcelona, which has left at least 13 dead and 80 injured, as the Islamic State organization claims repsonsibility for the casualties, via their Amaq news agency.

Spanish police have arrested at least 1 suspect, a Spanish citizen of Moroccan origin.

Shortly after the attack, U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted condolences, and then contradicted himself by posting a one-hundred-year-old conspiracy theory.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has confirmed that his country's defence treaty with Japan covers the contested Senkaku Islands in the South China Sea.

Beijing and Tokyo both claim sovereignty over the islands...known as the Diaoyo Islands in China...due to their strategic position.
