WannaCry "Accidental Hero" Pleads Not Guilty in Kronos Case

A British cybersecurity researcher has plead not guilty to charges he built and sold malicious code used to steal banking credentials. 

Marcus Hutchins helped stop the global WannaCry ransomware attack which infected hundreds of thousands of computers in May.

Dragon capsule enroute to International Space Station

More supplies are on their way to the International Space Station.

A SpaceX Dragon supply ship has lifted off carrying food, spare parts and 20 mice for use in experiments in orbit.

The capsule is expected to dock with the space station on Wednesday.

California to sue Trump over “Sanctuary Cities” policy

The state of California plans to file a lawsuit against the US

Charlottesville police admit they were not well-prepared for weekend violence

The head of the Charlottesville police in the American State of Virginia is defending the action of his forces after criticism that they acted too slowly to separate white supremacists and counter-protesters over the weekend,.

Police Chief Al Thomas admitted to reporters that his officers were not in protective equipment when the protests started because they hoped the demonstrations would be peaceful, and had to put on riot gear when violence erupted.

He blamed protesters for not keeping to agreements to stay apart, and acknowledged his forces struggled at times.

Meanwhile, James Fields, the man accused of killing a woman by driving into protestors on Saturday has appeared in court.

Fields is charged with the murder of 32-year-old Heather Heyer, and of injuring 19 other people protesting against the white supremacist rally.

US VP Pence: Failed Venezuelan State Will Threaten All of the Americas

US Vice President Mike Pence says the United States is prepared to bring all its economic and diplomatic power to bear to make sure democracy is restored in Venezuela. 
The US  Vice President met with Venezuelan refugees in Colombia, at the beginning of a Latin American tour to Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Panama. 

Pence says he's trying to rally the Latin American region against Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's attempts to consolidate power.

Charlottesville's been condemned - Pres. Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump refused to answer reporters questions on the delay in him issuing a full and specific condemnation of the violence and protests in Charlottesville, Virginia which lead to the death of one woman and 20 injured.

Pres. Trump made a fresh statement nearly 48 hours after an initial appearance before the press, after facing criticism from many, including leaders of the Republican party.

Having originally promised a "major major" press conference, President Trump turned his angry on the reporters after a statement on US trade and China.

U.S. President Donald Trump has granted permission to the U.S. Trade Representatives office to investigate China for possible violations and theft of intellectual property.

UN: Yemen's cholera outbreak reaches 500,000 cases

UN concerns over India's plan to deport 40,000 Rohingya Muslims

Two US soldiers killed in Iraq, circumstances still unknown


Two US soldiers were killed and five others wounded in Iraq on Sunday.

But the cause of the deaths still remains unclear with the US Department of Defense, Iraqi government and the Islamic State all giving different descriptions of the incident.
