U.S. President Donald Trump is now promising that if North Korea carries out any of its threats, Pyongyang will regret it fast.

The American president doesn't appear to want to talk about diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis.

Upping the ante again, Trump makes fresh threats against North Korea

President Trump says the US military is now "locked and loaded" and ready to strike at North Korea if it makes any attempt to attack the USA.


The President's claim came shortly after America's Defence Secretary tried to reassure allies in the Asia Pacific region that US military action is not imminent.

India's Supreme Court to hear Ayodhya dispute

After 7 years, the hearing in the Ayodhya land dispute case has finally begun in India's Supreme Court. The site is claimed by both Hindu and Muslim groups. 

Hindus claim that the Mughals built the Barbi Mosque in the 16th century on the disputed land after demolishing a temple. Muslims claim they have been praying at the site for centuries.

The Babri mosque was torn down by a Hindu mob in 1992 leading to religious riots across India where 2000 people died.

Pres. Trump disappointed with allies, praises cabinet

U.S. President Donald Trump again expressed his disappointment with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who is married to U.S. Labor Secretary Elaine Chao.

The U.S. Senate originally planned to keep working on the president's agenda, but went home for the traditional August recess when it became clear the health care legislation had utterly collapsed.
