US aircraft found after crash leaving 3 US marines missing

A U.S. aircraft that crashed, leaving three US marines presumed dead, has been located underwater off Australia's east coast. 

Twenty three people were rescued when the MV-22 Osprey ditiched into the water on Saturday, but three remain unaccounted for.

15 firefighters detained in Italy for starting fires

Fifteen volunteer firefighters have been arrested by Italian police on suspicion of intentionally starting fires to boost the number of call outs they were receiving.

The team were being paid 10 euro [12 dollars] per hour each during call outs.

North Korea vows to retaliate following fresh UN sanctions

North Korea has vowed to retaliate after the United Nations slapped
fresh sanctions on them over the weekend.

UK DISMISSES 40 BN EURO 'DIVORCE BILL' REPORTS

The UK government is rejecting reports it is prepared to pay around $47 billion (40 billion euros) to the EU as a so-called 'divorce bill'.

German industrial output fell unexpectedly in June

German industrial production unexpectedly fell just over one percent for the month of June, although output was still up for the second quarter.

LONDON COMMUTERS FACE CHAOS

Thousands of British commuters are facing weeks of severe disruption because of engineering work at the country's busiest train station.

Almost half the platforms at London Waterloo are closed until 28th August.

Earnings set to dominate again on Wall St. [preview]
