Health care reform process near collapse as senators walk away

The future of reforming health care and the associated insurance system in the United States is at near collapse in the U.S. Senate as four key senators walk away from proposed votes.

The U.S. Senate is supposed to be conducting a 'vote-a-rama' after 20 hours of debate to get to a piece of legislation it can take to conference with members of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Except that key members in the House leadership are now indicating, they don't want to go to conference and their plans to remain in Washington to continue the legislative process are tentative.

The "skinny bill" repeals only a small part of the Affordable Care Act, nicknamed Obamacare, and U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, a Republican from South Carolina, says it's a fraud.
