US, Russian officials discuss property return

Undersecretary of State Tom Shannon and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov are discussing whether Washington will return 2 properties owned by the Russian government.

The properties were seized in retaliation for evidence the Russians meddled in 2016 U.S. elections.

Kurdish top official says ISIS leader al-Baghdadi almost certainly alive

1 in 10 infants worldwide did not get vaccinated last year - WHO/Unicef

Nearly thirteen million infants around the world did not receive any vaccinations in 2016, according to the latest estimates by the UN Children's Fund and the World Health Organization. 


And the percentage of children who received full courses of routine immunizations over the past 6 years has stalled at 86 percent, short of the global immunization target of 90%.

White House defends criticism of Trump 'Made in America Week'


President Trump on Monday declared it "Made in America week."

According to the White House, it's goal is to honor 'the incredible workers and companies who make 'Made in America' the world standard for quality and craftsmanship.'

Sean Spicer, the White House press spokesperson, was asked if Donald Trump's company or his daughter Ivanka's company would make any commitment to stop manufacturing their products abroad...

The United Nations envoy for Iraq has warned the humanitarian situation remains "extremely challenging" following the liberation of Mosul.

Poll: More than 40% of Americans want Trump impeached, forced from office

A new poll shows that more than 40 per cent of American believe President Donald Trump should be impeached and forced to leave the White House.

9 killed in flash flood

At least nine people including a two-year-old have been killed in the

Teenage robotics students from Afghanistan compete in Washington despite visa issue

A team of teenage robotic students from Afghanistan whose US visas had been denied, are competing in an international event in Washington DC today (Monday) after President Trump intervened to grant them passage to the United States.

Secret Service contradicts Trump lawyer's take on 'Russia meeting'

The US Secret Service is pushing back against a claim by President Trump's lawyer that the agency would have prevented any nefarious meeting between Donald Trump Junior and a Russian lawyer.
