Mother Teresa's saree trademarked

The iconic white and blue saree of Saint Mother Teresa is now an intellectual property. 

The organisation that Mother Teresa founded in the Indian city of Kolkata 70 years ago- Missionaries of Charity claims it took the move to prevent misuse by people for commercial purposes. 

Mother Teresa was declared a Saint by the Vatican last year.

Donald Trump Junior tells Fox News 'father didn't know about Russian-lawyer meeting'


Donald trump Junior has told Fox News that he did not discuss his controversial meeting with a Russian lawyer with his father.

Don Junior had earlier released emails showing he was informed that a Russian attorney was promising dirt on Hillary Clinton, and that it was part of a Russian government effort to help his father in the US election.

Last year's June meeting also involved President Trump son -in -law Jared Kusher and his then campaign head Paul Manafort.

Trump junior has hired a defense lawyer to represent him in the ongoing Russia-related investigations and says he's willing to speak before a congressional committee regarding last year's meeting.

President Trump released a short statement earlier saying his son was quote 'a high-quality person' and went on to applaud what he called his son's 'transparency.'

Speaking on the Fox program Hannity, Don junior denied his father had knowledge of the meeting...

Top Democrat on US House intelligence committee: I want Donald Trump Jr, Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort to testify


As controversy rages in Washington DC about a meeting between the US President's son and a Kremlin-linked lawyer in June 2016...

The top Democrat on the US House of Representatives Intelligence Committee Congressman Adam Schiff says he will invite everybody who was there to testify in front of Congress.

Donald Trump Jr, the President's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner and Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort all attended the meeting:

US-led Coalition Commander in Iraq: still work to be done to completely clear Mosul of ISIS presence


The commander of Operation Inherent Resolve, the US-led coalition fighting alongside government troops in Iraq, has congratulated the combined forces on the recapture of Mosul from the Islamic State.

U.S. President Donald Trump issued a two sentence statement praising his son Donald Junior, after his son published emails from last year, in which he welcomes any information the Russian government might have on Hillary Clinton.

The Trump campaign has consistently insisted there was no collusion with Russia despite various associates and family members changing their stories.

White House deputy spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders read out a brief statement from the president.

US, Qatar sign MOU to fight terror funding

The US and Qatar on Tuesday reached an agreement to fight terrorism and its financing in a move touted as a potential breakthrough for a diplomatic crisis gripping the Persian Gulf.

Republican senators concede legitimate concerns following Trump emails

Republican senators are beginning to concede there are legitimate concerns following the publishing of emails by the President's son.

Donald Trump, Jr., has published a set of emails in which he says if a PR person can provide emails with damaging information about Hillary Clinton from the Russian government, he'd love to see them.

Experts are suggesting this may be evidence of obstruction of justice or interference with election processes.

As much as the Republicans want to work on their legislative agenda, Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina concedes the investigative process continues.

Future of British Grand Prix in doubt at Silverstone

The future of the British Grand Prix has been thrown into doubt after the owners of the Silverstone race track triggered a break clause in their contract with Formula One.

Russia threatens to expel dozens of US diplomats

Moscow may expel at least 30 American diplomats and seize US state property in the country, Russian media reports citing senior Russian official. Moscow reportedly made the decision following last week's first meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Germany.
