Ahead of Modi visit, Lockheed Martin signs deal to make F-16s in India

American aerospace giant Lockheed Martin has signed a deal to produce the combat-proven F-16 fighter jets in India. The American firm will work with India's Tata Group to roll out the fighter jets.

This comes just days ahead of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's bilateral visit with Donald Trump where both sides are expected to focus heavily on defence cooperation.

Trump condemns "brutal" North Korea over student death

US President Donald Trump has condemned the 'brutality' of the North Korean regime after the American student released from captivity there died.
Otto Warmbier was detained in North Korea in January 2016.
The 22-year-old had been in a coma for more than a year when he returned to America last week.

Coroner: Carrie Fisher Had Drugs In System When She Died

Carrie Fisher had cocaine and several other drugs in her system at the
time of her death, according to a full autopsy report released by the

Trump condemns North Korea after student held captive there dies


US President Donald Trump has offered his deepest condolences to the family of the 22-year-old student who died on Monday after being returned to the US following 17 months in a North Korean prison.

Otto Warmbier was sentenced to 15 years for reportedly attempting to take a banner from a North Korean hotel.  

Doctors said he was in a state of "unresponsive wakefulness" when he was returned to the U.S. last week.

US voter data stored on unsecured server

US student detained in North Korea dies

The American student released from captivity in North Korea last week has died.

Otto Warmbier was detained in North Korea in January 2016. He had been in a coma for more than a year when he returned to America.

Syrian militias threaten Govt forces over attacks

US-backed fighters have warned they will retaliate if Syrian
government forces continue to attack their positions outside the city
of Raqqa.

A 17-year old Muslim girl abducted and killed in Virginia

Police in the US state of Virginia have found what they think are the remains of a 17-year-old Muslim girl who disappeared near a mosque over the weekend.

A 22 year old suspect has been charged with her murder.

1 person has died after a van drove into pedestrians in London as worshippers left London mosques following Ramadan prayers.

A 48 year old man has been arrested.

Prime Minister Theresa May addresses the London terrorist attack

In response to the London attack near Finsbury park mosque, UK Prime Minister Theresa May held an emergency meeting.

One person was killed and eight others are injured after a van hit a crowd of people outside of a mosque. The 48-year old man driving the van was detained by individuals at the scene and was then arrested.

Russia angry over US downing of Syrian warplane

Russia's Ministry of Defence says it would view any flying objects over Syria in the areas where its airforces operate as targets. UPDATE: Indian government picks Presidential candidate

India's federal government has finalized it's candidate for the Presidential polls. The Governor of the North Indian state of Bihar will be contest the elections for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's party.

If the Opposition were to back his candidacy then an election would become redundant. Elections are slated to take place on July 17 and counting of votes three days later.

The President in India is just a nominal constitutional head, however these elections are being seen as a precursor to the next general elections in the country in 2019.
