America's top diplomat plays down climate impact after US exits Paris-deal


The US Secretary State says the America's withdrawal form the Paris Climate Agreement won't impact US efforts to reduce harmful gas emissions.

Rex Tillerson was one of a handful of senior Trump Cabinet members who had supported the US involvement in the 2015 accord.

Special counsel's probe expands to include Flynn-Turkey questions

Special counsel Robert Mueller is expanding his investigation into Michael Flynn's work for other nations, now looking into cash paid by Turkey, according to Reuters.

US unemployment lowest since 2001, but jobs growth weak

The US unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest level in 16 years.

However, the latest set of jobs data also showed a slower pace of hiring in May.

Russian President and Indian PM to be quizzed at the St Petersburg Economic Forum

Ahead of Modi's visit to the US, Trump accuses India of trying to 'extract billions' for climate deal

US President Donald Trump has said that the Paris Accord unfairly favours countries like China and India. He's also alleged that India is demanding billions to participate in the climate deal.

Donald Trump pulls US out of Paris climate change deal


In a speech at the White House on Thursday, US President Donald Trump said his country will withdraw from the Paris climate change agreement.

Environmental groups immediately condemned the decision, with President Trump also announcing that the US will look to renegotiate the Paris pact or perhaps broker a new deal.
