America's top diplomat plays down climate impact after US exits Paris-deal


The US Secretary State says the America's withdrawal form the Paris Climate Agreement won't impact US efforts to reduce harmful gas emissions.

Rex Tillerson was one of a handful of senior Trump Cabinet members who had supported the US involvement in the 2015 accord.

Special counsel's probe expands to include Flynn-Turkey questions

US unemployment lowest since 2001, but jobs growth weak

The US unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest level in 16 years.

However, the latest set of jobs data also showed a slower pace of hiring in May.

Trump administration wants quick action on travel ban

The Trump administration is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to reinstate the travel ban, whilst their appeal of lower court rulings is considered by the nation's highest court.

Ahead of Modi's visit to the US, Trump accuses India of trying to 'extract billions' for climate deal

U.S. President Donald Trump is facing harsh and quick criticism for announcing the U.S. wants to withdraw from it's obligations under the Paris Climate Accord and renegotiate.
